The most successful restoration designs result from a combination of well-defined goals with a thorough understanding of the project area. Part of the process of understanding any site involves studying physical and biological characteristics. We have the testing equipment and expertise necessary to assess abiotic features such as soil chemistry, soil structure, and hydrology. We can also assess and survey various aspects of the biotic community including community structure and composition; threatened, endangered, and sensitive (TES) species; and invasive species.
