Many restoration projects have been completed without provisions for measuring success. We believe it is very desirable for restoration projects to have well-defined, measurable performance standards. We can design and implement long-term monitoring programs ranging from controlled experimental hypothesis testing to simple data collection. We routinely use photo documentation points in all of our projects. Since economic constraints will always limit the number of variables that can be monitored it is important to choose the few that will provide the most useful information. We have the experience and knowledge to select the most important indicators based on the goals of project and site conditions.
